Hey friends.
Happy Holidays!
I hope you’ve enjoyed a warm and rejuvenating Thanksgiving with friends and family.
I hope your Christmas plans are gearing up to be just as lovely, if not more so.
In this letter I am sharing what I have been up to this year.
I’ll be quick, real casual, short, and sweet.
Reflecting on the year
I went to the 36th annual Morehouse Candle in the Dark gala and presented the candle award for business and philanthropy to Raymond McGuire.
I started dating my partner who makes me happier to be alive every day!
I revamped my entrepreneurial spirit and sold some used fridges in May.
I ate Ethiopian food for the first time.
I ran 130+ miles!
I went to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens cameila show.
I rejoiced with my family at my sister’s baby shower!
I went to Philadelphia 5 times to visit her and my new niece!
I joined the fucketlisters!
I went to LA and watched a Lakers game from the sky box.
I went to Charleston, South Carolina
I walked the entire Atlanta Beltline.
I raised $100+ for the Destined for Greatness fundraiser.
I went to the Black Policy Conference at Harvard.
I went to a party in DC + saw the Washington Monument and the white house.
I was in a docu-series where I interviewed a member of the Aspen Institute.
I got accepted to a japan study abroad for 2025!
And I am going to Panama in 1 week!
There was also some first!
It was my first time cooking lentils, the first time cooking a full meal that I really liked for myself, and the first time traveling to Athens, and uhh…., yeah, and probably a whole bunch of other stuff.
I have made a lot of people happy, and I helped make their lives a little bit easier :^)
I felt the biggest boost in confidence and positive feelings toward life after my Birthday.
I have welcomed more blessings into my heart this year than any other.
In this eternal present moment, I am set to focus on 1% improvement every day in my pursuits, profession, and relationships. I am rising up, I am thriving, I am learning!
I value moments like these where I can reflect on the good warmth and love that has met me on my path.
That’s it for now, head empty and heart satisfied.
See ya next week!
